You can download an event submission form, type in your information, copy and paste it into an email or save the document to a file on your computer and attach it to an email addressed to: calendar@rushcounty.in.gov or print out the form after you download it and snail mail it to: Rush County Courth House, 101 East 2nd Street, Room 108, Rushville, IN 46173. Indoor walking in Rushville is available: 1) Rush County Courthouse – Monday – Friday, 7 am – 8 am and 4 pm – 5 pm 2) Boys & Girls Club - M-F 6:30 am – 8:00 am, and MWF 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm 3) Memorial Gymnasium – M-F 6:30 am – 8:00 am, MTThF 11:35 – 12:05, on Wednesday 11:20 – 11:50

Main Street, Rushville Purpose: Diabetes and Healthy Eating – Engages participation in a more detailed discussion about the connection between food and diabetes and the importance of healthy eating as it relates to managing diabetes. Purpose: Those in need of food coming to the distribution are to bring a photo ID and proof of Rush County residency. Additional information: The excess food that is not distributed on these Mondays will go to the Rush County Community Assistance food pantry.

Date: June 12, 2013 Event: Senior Healtlh Screening Time: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Place: Rush County Senior Center, 504 West 3rd St., Rushville Purpose: The Rush County Health Dept will provide the following: weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, hemoglobin, and blood sugar. Heath Education will be included during the screening program. Referrals for private physicians will be made when needed. This is available to all Rush County senior citizens at no cost. Contact: Any questions may be directed to Rush County Health Dept., 765-932-3103.

Walkabout (Fitness Initiative Team from Partners for a Healty Rush County) Time: 5::30 p.m. Place: East Hill Cemetery Address: 704 E State Rd 44 Purpose: To get Rush County walking!!! Information: Meet at 5:20 p.m. behind Section 14 in the SE corner of the cemetery. There is plenty of parking at that location. The gates do close for vehicles at 7:00 pm. If you plan to be there after 7, park outside and walk in. Open to the public; everyone encouraged to participate.
