The Rush County Probation Department serves the Rush County Circuit and Superior Courts through the preparation of presentence and predisposition investigations and the supervision of adult and juvenile offenders.
Probation is a program that requires a fundamental knowledge of the lalw, sentencing alternatives, human services, and community protection.
The mission of the Rush County Probation Department is to provide necessary services to the offender, as ordered by the court, aimed toward reducing criminal and/or delinquent behavior and to ensuring the safety of the community.
