Responsibilities:

Maintenance of 765 miles of Rush County roads, 1500 miles of side ditches, 193 bridges, over 3000 concrete and pipe culverts.
The department's specific functions include but not limited to: road resurfacing, snow plowing, chip sealing, grading gravel roads, brush cutting, side ditching, berming roads, sign repair.
